How to connect Lemlist to Msgly

Get your Lemlist API key

Log into Lemlist → Settings → Integrations → API → copy your API key.

Connect in Msgly and select a campaign

Dashboard → Integrations → Lemlist → paste your API key → select the campaign to push contacts to → Save.

Set up the webhook for automatic tracking

In Lemlist, go to Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → add the Msgly webhook URL (shown in your Msgly integration settings). This enables automatic open and reply tracking.

On any LinkedIn profile in Target Profiles, click the Lemlist button. The contact and AI email are added to your campaign instantly.

Does webhook tracking require a paid Lemlist plan?

Yes. Webhook-based email tracking (open and reply events) requires a paid Lemlist plan. Pushing contacts to campaigns via the API works on all Lemlist plans. This is Lemlist's own requirement, not a Msgly restriction.

What if I don't set up the webhook?

Without the webhook, you can still push contacts to Lemlist and use Lemlist normally. You just won't see open/reply data automatically in Msgly. You can manually mark emails as opened or replied in the Msgly Cold Email dashboard.

Can I use Lemlist alongside a CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive?

Yes. Many Msgly users push a contact to both Lemlist (for the cold email sequence) and a CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive (to keep the pipeline updated) at the same time. Both integrations can be active simultaneously.

Can I disconnect Lemlist from Msgly?

Yes. Dashboard → Integrations → Lemlist → Remove. This clears your API key immediately. Contacts already pushed to Lemlist remain in your campaigns — disconnecting only stops future syncs.
